- 5000VA 24V pure sine wave inverter:
- Converts DC to 230V AC to power TVs, laptops, lighting, fans, and more. Delivers 4000W continuous and 9000W peak for motor-driven appliances, with pure sine wave output for superior efficiency and broad compatibility.
- Adaptive 120A 4-stage smart battery charger (bulk - absorption - float - storage):
- Enables safe, efficient unattended 24V battery charging with a microprocessor-driven adaptive system that automatically adjusts to battery type and usage.
- Uninterruptible power supply (UPS):
- Features a high-speed 50A AC transfer switch that activates the inverter in under 20ms during outages, keeping sensitive loads like computers running without interruption.
Intelligent Features
Includes all standard MultiPlus features plus optional external current sensor support to extend PowerControl and PowerAssist and optimise self-consumption. Features an auxiliary AC output for non-critical loads that disconnects when switching to battery mode.
The MultiPlus-II also offers numerous customizable features and settings for enhanced functionality and versatile applications.
- PowerControl:
- Allows setting a maximum AC input current, prioritising AC loads while using leftover current to charge batteries, preventing supply overloads and breaker trips. Requires Multi Control Panel (not included).
- PowerAssist:
- PowerAssist lets the MultiPlus-II supplement AC source capacity by drawing additional current from the battery during peak loads, then recharging when demand drops—ideal for short-term peak power or smaller generators.
- Programmable relay:
- Features a programmable relay for tasks like generator start/stop. By default, it acts as an alarm relay, de-energising during alarms or pre-alarms such as high temperature, high input ripple, or low battery voltage.
- Parallel and 3-phase operation capability:
- Can be paralleled with up to 6 units for higher power and supports 3-phase wye operation. Requires standard RJ45 UTP cable (not included).
- Inbuilt safety protection:
- Provides full protection against short circuit, overload, battery over/undervoltage, overheating, backfeed AC, and excessive input voltage ripple.
- WeakAC:
- WeakAC mode lets the charger operate under heavily distorted input voltage, though it increases input current distortion.
- BatterySafe mode:
- Prevents battery damage from excessive gassing by limiting voltage rise once gassing voltage is reached during high-current, high-voltage charging.
- The Storage mode:
- Storage mode lowers float voltage after 24 hours of inactivity to reduce gassing and plate corrosion, with weekly absorption pulses to prevent stratification and sulphation, extending battery life.
- Bulk protection:
- Limits bulk charging to 10 hours to prevent overcharging and flag potential system errors like a battery cell short circuit.
- Temperature compensation:
- Temperature sensor reduces charging voltage as battery heats, protecting maintenance-free batteries from overcharging and drying out.
- Remote monitoring and control:
- Paired with a GX device, the MultiPlus-II can be monitored and controlled locally or remotely via the free VRM app or portal on any phone, tablet, or computer.
