This compact all-in-one unit combines a 3000VA 48V pure sine wave inverter, a 35A adaptive battery charger, and a 32A high-speed AC transfer switch. Intelligent Features
Offers all standard MultiPlus features plus support for an external current sensor for enhanced PowerControl and PowerAssist. Also includes a secondary AC output for non-critical loads, which disconnects instantly when switching to battery mode.
Beyond its core performance, the MultiPlus-II includes a wide range of advanced features and customizable settings for enhanced versatility, control, and system optimization.
- PowerControl:
- Allows you to set a maximum AC input limit, ensuring appliances get priority power while surplus capacity charges the batteries—preventing overloads and tripped breakers (requires Multi Control Panel).
- PowerAssist:
- PowerAssist boosts your AC source by instantly adding extra power from the batteries when demand exceeds supply—letting you run heavier loads with a smaller generator or limited shore power, then recharging when demand drops.
- Programmable relay:
- The MultiPlus-II includes a programmable relay for functions like automatic generator start/stop, and by default acts as an alarm relay that triggers when critical conditions—such as overheating or low battery voltage—are detected.
- Parallel and 3-phase operation capability:
- The MultiPlus-II supports parallel connection of up to six units for greatly increased power, and can also be configured for 3-phase operation using a standard RJ45 UTP connection.
- Inbuilt safety protection:
- Provides full protection against short circuits, overload, battery over/undervoltage, overheating, backfeed AC, and excessive input voltage ripple.
- WeakAC:
- WeakAC mode allows charging under heavily distorted input voltage, though it increases input current distortion.
- BatterySafe mode:
- Prevents battery damage from excessive gassing by automatically limiting voltage rise during high-current, high-voltage charging.
- The Storage mode:
- Storage mode lowers float voltage after 24 hours of inactivity to reduce gassing and plate corrosion, with weekly absorption pulses to prevent stratification and sulphation, extending battery life.
- Bulk protection:
- Limits bulk charging to 10 hours to prevent overcharging and flag potential system issues like a battery cell short circuit.
- Temperature compensation:
- Temperature sensor reduces charging voltage as battery heats, protecting maintenance-free batteries from overcharging and drying out.
- Remote monitoring and control:
- Paired with a GX device, the MultiPlus-II can be monitored and controlled locally or remotely via the free VRM app or portal on any phone, tablet, or computer.
